Aidgle is now offline

Dear Aidgle users:

We regret to inform you that because of reasons beyond our control Aidgle is now offline indefinitely.

Some weeks ago we received a message from Google, our search engine operator and sponsor, stating that our website was in violation of the Adsense terms of service. They argued that Aidgle offered an incentive to users to perform clicks on search-served advertisements. We replied stating that Aidgle worked on a per-visit and not a per-click system, but Google insisted that the incentive was present, and proceeded to deactivate our adversiting account.

We attempted to find alternative sponsors serving search related ads, but when we implemented them Google threatened to deactivate our search account if we did not remove them. Since Aidgle is now unable to render income, we have chosen to take it down.

We are grateful to all our users for their continuous support. Because of you we were able to reconstruct many homes in the zones of Pisco, Ica and Chincha. The people that received aid derived from your searches we're sure are incredibly grateful as well.

Instead of returning to Google, Aidgle will now redirect its users to a new Google based search engine called Kudasu. Please visit it and explore their site, since we find their project extremely interesting and innovating.

Once again we thank you for searching with us in the previous months.

The Aidgle Team
